Kick-ass nails make me better at my job, I swear

On August 4, 2010 / By tania / In Education, School, The Metro / No Comments

So CareerCamp is coming to Enderun Colleges tomorrow. Outfit, check. Matching purple umbrella, check. Nails?

nail art

Check.

(I did it myself, with the help of Etude House nail art I got for something like PhP80/$1.78. The nail polish was a little over PhP 90/$2 at The Face Shop. And yes, I realize I’m never going to be a hand model.)

All Enderun students are invited to this free event. Come and get real career advice from professionals in the Hotel and Restaurant business, learn how to make a kick-ass resume, and learn how to ace job interviews.

I will not be speaking (we have excellent HRM pros for that), but I will be there to distribute flyers and answer questions about the event and CareerCamp.

If you’re a student or a school administrator/staff and you’d like CareerCamp to hold a free career development event at your college or university, contact us at careercamp@bronzeage.ph or call (+63-2)692-3093.

I’d never actually been to one of these things before. Carlo Ople of New Media Philippines was organizing this series of meetings between bloggers and political candidates and would-be political candidates for 2010, and in the evening of November 12, 2009 at Dulcinea was a dinner with Akbayan Party-List Rep. Risa Hontiveros. From what my

So last night, Michael Aquino, Ryan Tani and Carlos Celdran of the Rational Hero movement and I (representing Filipino Freethinkers, along with Ryan and Michael) guested on RockED on NU 107.5FM to talk about the Rational Hero movement, secularism and the RH Bill. Here's a recording of that show (Thanks, Tin!).
