My friends R and L from Zamboanga City are staying over for a few days at my place. They absolutely insisted that we go to Ocean Park. I had no idea what that was, but I agreed to go anyway. Wow, it turned out to be a really fun experience. I fell in love with all the fish. And the crocodiles. They actually had to drag me away from the shark tank when it was time to go.

This is me with the sting ray. I’m calling him Bob.

There was a little boy who kept pointing to the top of the tank at a shark and saying, “Look, it’s a shark!” I kept telling him, “Sweetie, they’re ALL sharks,” but he wouldn’t believe me.

I apologize for the crappy lighting. They keep it dark in there, the better to see the fish. And we weren’t allowed to use flash. Although they weren’t so strict about it, as there were some morons who used flash anyway, and no one stopped them.

A ticket for the oceanarium (?) costs PhP 400 (around $10). It’s totally worth it. Go check it out. And say hi to Bob for me.
